    Soldier

    Kitchener was Secretary of State for War but died in 1916. A memorial service was held in the Abbey on 13th June 1916.

    This Palm Sunday Sung Eucharist marks the start of Holy Week. We remember Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, where the crowd laid down palm branches for Him to walk on.

    This Sung Eucharist commemorates the Last Supper, where Jesus broke bread with his disciples, and washed their feet as a sign of humility.
