  It is announced that the Reverend Jane Sinclair, Canon of Westminster, is to take on the responsibility of the Rector of St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey, in succession to the Venerable Andrew Tremlett, with effect from 1st September 2016, following his installation as Dean of Durham in the summer.

  In the north transept is the grave of the celebrated physician Thomas Willis. The current stone was dedicated in 1961 to replace the original.

  On the north wall of St Margaret's church Westminster is a monument to Thomas Arnwaye (Arnway) and his wife Margaret.

  Thomas Amyot (Amyott), lawyer and historian, and his wife Jane are buried in St Margaret's church. There is a marble tablet on the north wall.
