Robert Stewart, Viscount Castlereagh and 2nd Marquis of Londonderry, politician, was buried in the centre of the north transept of Westminster Abbey.

Soldier and Sailor
Richard Deane, Cromwellian army and naval officer, was buried in a vault in Henry VII's chapel in Westminster Abbey but was exhumed by order of Charles II.

Edward IV
Edward IV was crowned in Westminster Abbey on 28th June 1461. His queen Elizabeth Woodville was crowned in 1465. Their infant daughter Margaret has a small monument in St Edward's chapel.

On 11th October 1949 the Baptist Missionary Society gave a carved English walnut lectern to Westminster Abbey in memory of William Carey, missionary in India.

In the north choir aisle is a monument to the memory of the Reverend Evelyn Levett Sutton. This includes a relief of a weeping woman.

Actor
Dame Sybil Thorndike, actress, is buried in the south choir aisle. Her ashes were buried on 2nd July 1976. The gravestone was unveiled 23rd October.

The ashes of Lawrence Edward Tanner, Westminster Abbey historian and antiquary, are buried in the vault of the lower Islip chapel in the Abbey.

Priest/Minister
Dr John Heylyn and his wife and daughter are buried in the south transept. The gravestone inscription is now very faint except for Elizabeth's name.

Maurice Pickering was buried in St Margaret's churchyard on 30th June 1604. This is the area now grassed over between this church and Westminster Abbey.
