Jane Austen is buried in Winchester Cathedral but a small tablet was unveiled to her memory in Poets' Corner, Westminster Abbey, on 17th December 1967.

Dorothy, eldest daughter of William Howard was buried in St John the Baptist's chapel in Westminster Abbey on 17th December 1701.

Elizabeth, Countess of Desmond
Elizabeth Butler, Countess of Desmond was buried in St Paul's chapel in Westminster Abbey in 1629 but she has no marker. Her father's first wife Elizabeth Berkeley is also buried in this chapel.

Anna Sophia Wardour and two sons are buried in the centre part of the nave. Their graves are now marked by small lozenge stones.
