  William de Haseley was Sub-Prior of the Benedictine monastery at Westminster and master of the novices. He entered the monastery in about 1266.

  William Fowler, born about 1400, was buried in St Dunstan's chapel according to information contained in the will of his son, Sir Richard Fowler (c.1425-1477).

• HM The Queen attends Service for Lord Snowdon

  Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the Life and Work of the Rt Hon The 1st Earl of Snowdon GCVO in St Margaret's Church on Friday 7th April. They were accompanied by the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of York, the Earl of Wessex, the Duke of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.

  Gordon Thomas Southam and his wife Jean were generous donors to the Westminster Abbey restoration appeal which culminated in the restoration of Henry VII's Chapel.
