Catherine, Lady St John of Bletso
Catherine, Lady St John of Bletso was buried in Westminster Abbey in March 1615. Her monument had originally shown her two children, Oliver and Anne.

St Oscar Romero

A statue to Oscar Romero, modern martyr and saint, was unveiled in July 1998 and stands above the west entrance to Westminster Abbey. Sculptor John Roberts.

A memorial to the Orkney-born Arctic explorer Dr John Rae (1813-1893) was dedicated in the Chapel of St John the Evangelist, Westminster Abbey on Tuesday 30th September 2014.

Musician and Composer
John Isham, organist and composer, was buried in the middle chancel of St Margaret's on 12th June 1726. He had been organist there since 1718.

St Maximilian Kolbe
Priest/Minister
St Maximilian Kolbe is one of ten martyrs with a memorial statue above the west door of Westminster Abbey. He offered his own life to save a fellow prisoner in Auschwitz-Birkenau.

General John Wynyard is buried in the nave. When the nave floor was re-laid in 1834 his gravestone was taken up and replaced.

John Hunter, surgeon and anatomist, was interred in St Martin in the Fields. When burials were removed from that church his remains were moved here.

John Packer, politician and philanthropist, was buried in St Margaret's church Westminster on 15th February 1649 but he has no monument or inscribed gravestone.

Colonel John Meldrum died of wounds received at the battle of Brandon. He was buried St Andrew's chapel but disinterred at the Restoration.
