Since its foundation in 1976, The Prince’s Trust has supported over a million young people aged 11-30 through a range of courses, grants and mentoring support. The Trust’s work assists young people to improve skills, increase self-confidence and helps them to move into jobs, education, training and volunteering. William Dickinson
Architect
William Dickinson, architect and deputy Surveyor of Westminster Abbey under Sir Christopher Wren, was buried in the north porch of the Abbey.

Ordination and Consecration of Bishops at Westminster Abbey

The Reverend Canon Jonathan Goodall was ordained and consecrated Bishop of Ebbsfleet in the Diocese of Canterbury, and The Venerable Martyn Snow was ordained and consecrated Bishop of Tewkesbury in the Diocese of Gloucester at a Eucharist at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday 25th September 2013.

Dr David Hoyle installed as 39th Dean of Westminster
The Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle was installed as the 39th Dean of Westminster at Evensong at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 16th November 2019.

William Bishop
The ashes of William Bishop were buried in the west cloister. He held the post of Clerk of Works at the Abbey from 1928-1955.

Harriett Benthall
On the wall of the north cloister is a white marble tablet to Harriett Benthall. Her husband John attended Westminster School as a King's Scholar.

Harry Carter
The ashes of Harry Carter and his wife lie in the west cloister. He was Clerk of Works at the Abbey responsible for maintenance.

Nicholas Oudart
Nicholas Oudart was buried in the west cloister on 21st December 1681 but has no marker. He was born at Malines (Mechlin) in Belgium.

Leonard Plukenet
Writer and Physician
Dr Leonard Plukenet (or Pluckenett) was botanist to Queen Mary II and was buried in the chancel of St Margaret's church on 12th July 1706.
