  In St Margaret's is a memorial tablet to author and slave abolitionist Olaudah Equiano who was baptised Gustavus Vassa in that church when a slave.

  Politician Robert Lowe (Viscount Sherbrooke) has a bust in the eastern porch of St Margaret's Church Westminster. He was born at Bingham, Nottinghamshire in 1811.

  In the south transept is a memorial to actor Barton Booth. There is a portrait medallion with an allegorical figure crowning him with a laurel.

  In the north west tower chapel in the nave is a memorial bust to John, 1st Earl Russell (formerly Lord John Russell), Prime Minister.

  On the west wall of St Margaret's church is a memorial for Samuel Langford, by sculptor William Stanton. The inscription panel is flanked by columns.

  Poet and writer Thomas Campbell is buried in Poets' Corner. He has a life sized marble statue near Shakespeare's memorial, by sculptor W. Calder Marshall.
