  Clare College, Cambridge, has announced that the Reverend Dr James Hawkey will be its next Dean and Director of Studies in Theology, to succeed the Reverend Dr Gregory Seach who is leaving to take up the post of Warden of Wollaston College in Western Australia.

• Communities Case Studies

  Our Communities team at Westminster Abbey often works with young people on long-term projects, building relationships with community groups and organisations. Perhaps some of our previous projects and partnerships can serve as inspiration for our future together?

  Peckham Park Baptist Church approached us to support their half term “Apprentice Challenge”. Young people were tasked with exploring and understanding the Abbey before presenting their sales pitch inspired by their favourite area of this great church.

• First Commonwealth Theologian in Residence appointed

  Monday, 13th January 2025

  The Reverend Dr Ishaya Anthony has been appointed as Westminster Abbey’s inaugural Commonwealth Theologian in Residence for the Lent Term 2025. He will take up the position later in January.
