  It was announced today, Tuesday 23rd November 2010, that the wedding of HRH Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton will take place at Westminster Abbey on Friday 29th April 2011.

  William Camden, author and antiquary, was buried in the south transept of Westminster Abbey. He was Head Master of Westminster School and Abbey Librarian.

  William Buckland, geologist and Dean of Westminster has a memorial in the nave but is buried with his wife in the churchyard at Islip, Oxfordshire.

  On 12th November 1954 a memorial was unveiled for William Caxton, merchant and England's first printer and publisher. He also imported books into England.

  On the wall of the East Cloister is a white marble tablet, with a drum, shield and flag to the memory of William Barrell.
