Representations of St George and his dragon can be seen in Westminster Abbey on Henry VIIs tomb and grille, in the Lady Chapel statue series, in stained glass windows to the YMCA and Sir Benjamin Baker in the nave, and in the window in St Benedicts chapel.

A bronze relief of Sir Thomas Lovell, Chancellor of the Exchequer, who died in 1524, is on display in the new Abbey Galleries . The artist was Pietro Torrigiano.

Cornelius Van Dun
Soldier and Philanthropist
In St Margaret's is a painted stone bust to Cornelius Van Dun who died in 1577. His wife Gylbarte was also buried in the church.

William Thynne
In the south choir aisle is a tomb of alabaster and marble to William Thynne. His recumbent effigy in armour lies on a rush mattress.

A memorial stone to David Lloyd George, 1st Earl Lloyd George O.M., Prime Minister, was unveiled in the north aisle of the nave in 1970.

The Choir of Westminster Abbey is joined by Britten Sinfonia for this performance of Mozart’s Mass in C Minor. Members of the Abbey Choir, soprano Ailish Tynan and mezzo soprano Katie Coventry sing the solo parts in this glorious missa solemnis.

Mary I
Mary Tudor was the daughter of Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon. She was crowned in the Abbey on 1st October 1553 and lies buried with Elizabeth I.
