  Margaret Douglas, Countess of Lennox, was buried, at the expense of Elizabeth I, in the south aisle of Henry VII's chapel in Westminster Abbey.

  Physician and Doctor

  In the north choir aisle is a large memorial to Dr Hugh Chamberlen. It consists of marbles with an effigy of Hugh in doctor's gown.

• Henry VII and Elizabeth of York

  Henry VII’s coronation took place in October 1485. Henry VII and his wife Elizabeth of York were the first monarchs to be buried in the Abbey’s Lady Chapel.

• Villiers Family

  Politician and Soldier

  Sir George Villiers, his wife Mary, son George 1st Duke of Buckingham and others of the family are buried in Westminster Abbey.

• Edward III and Philippa of Hainault

  Edward was crowned in 1327. Monuments to him and his wife Philippa of Hainault are in the chapel of St Edward the Confessor, Westminster Abbey.

• Henry V and Catherine de Valois

  Henry’s tomb is below his elaborate chantry chapel in Westminster Abbey. His funeral armour and the effigy of his wife, Catherine de Valois, can be seen in the Abbey Galleries.

• Richard II and Anne of Bohemia

  Richard was crowned in Westminster Abbey on 16th July 1377 aged 10. He married Anne of Bohemia in January 1382 and both are buried in the Abbey. His portrait hangs in the nave.
