HM The Queen attends Service for Lord Snowdon

Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the Life and Work of the Rt Hon The 1st Earl of Snowdon GCVO in St Margaret's Church on Friday 7th April. They were accompanied by the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of York, the Earl of Wessex, the Duke of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.

Prince Harry and many stars of film and stage recognised the achievements of some of the bravest children in the country at the 35th Woman’s Own Children of Courage Awards which took place at the Abbey on Wednesday 10th December.

Project aims

In 2017, Westminster Abbey invited young people from around London to respond to the stories and memories held in the fabric of the building. These young consultants reflected on their experience through a variety of outcomes creating a vibrant and eclectic body of work.
