  The Dean & Chapter of Westminster congratulates the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their son.

• Leopold Muller

  Philanthropist

  Leopold Muller was a generous donor to the restoration of the Lady Chapel. He has a small window in one of the apsidal chapels.

• Mary, Countess of Kent

  Mary, Countess of Kent was buried in St Paul's chapel in Westminster Abbey on 20th March 1644 but nothing marks her grave.

• Henry son of Henry VIII

  Henry was buried in Westminster Abbey on the north side of the Sanctuary area near the entrance to the chapel of St Edward the Confessor.

• Stephen Baber

  Stephen Baber was buried in the north cloister of Westminster Abbey on 27th March 1679 but his gravestone is no longer readable.

• Douglessa and Ambrosia Gorges

  Lady Douglas (or Douglessa) Gorges and her daughter Ambrosia were buried in St Paul's chapel in Westminster Abbey but neither had any monument or gravestone.

• Michael Hare

  In the west cloister is the grave of Michael and Mary Hare. He lived in Millbank street Westminster. Mary was a child of James Merest.

• Edward Ashurst Morris

  In St Margaret's church Westminster, in the north wall, is a stained glass window to Edward Ashurst Morris, designed by Edward Frampton.

• Sarah Hucks

  Sarah Hucks, wife of Joseph and sister of Viscount Grimston, was buried in the north cloister of Westminster Abbey. She has no marker.

• George Sparrow

  In St Margaret's is a memorial tablet to George Sparrow, Government agent, and members of his family. Unfortunately this is now hidden behind the organ.

• Frances Louisa Parnell

  On the wall of the west cloister is a modern memorial, designed by J. Peter Foster in slate and white marble, to Frances Louisa Parnell.

• Edward Gee

  Writer and Priest/Minister

  Reverend Dr Edward Gee, author, was buried in Westminster Abbey on 6th March 1730 "within the north gate of the tombs", presumably the north ambulatory.

  Alphonso Marsh, composer and royal musician, was buried in the west cloister of Westminster Abbey on 9th April 1692 but he has no marker.

  The ashes of Raymond Gordon, founder of the children's Horse Rangers charity, are buried in St Margaret's. On the south west wall is a memorial.

• Susanna Gunning

  Novelist

  Susanna Gunning, novelist, was buried in the north cloister on 5th September 1800 aged 60. She seems never to have had an inscribed gravestone.

• Richard de Clare, 6th Earl of Gloucester

  In the north choir aisle of Westminster Abbey is a carved shield with the coat of arms of Richard de Clare, 6th Earl of Gloucester.

• William Tucker

  Composer, Musician and Priest/Minister

  William Tucker, priest and musician, was buried in the cloisters. He was an Abbey Minor Canon and Lay Vicar from 1661 until his death.

• Eleanor Worgan

  Eleanor, wife of organist and composer Dr John Worgan, was buried in the north choir aisle of Westminster Abbey.

  Captain Richard Murray was buried in the west cloister of Westminster Abbey but has no marker.

  Edmund Nelham, musician and Minor Canon of Westminster Abbey, was buried in the cloisters in 1646 but he has no marker or memorial.
