  Reverend Robert Poole Finch and his wife Lucy are buried in the north transept. The gravestone, now worn away, is just inside the entrance door.

  William Strong, independent minister, was buried in Westminster Abbey in July 1654 but his body was disinterred after Charles II was restored to the throne.

  Wenceslaus Hollar, the famous etcher, is buried in St Margaret's church and has a wall tablet there. This tablet replaced one lost by bomb damage.

  In the centre of the nave is the grave of John Laird Mair (Lawrence), 1st Lord Lawrence. Nearby is a bust of Lord Lawrence.
