  Peter Holder, Sub-Organist at Westminster Abbey, has been appointed Organist and Official Student (Tutorial Fellow) at Christ Church, Oxford. He will take up his new post in the autumn.

  Sir Peter Walters has his coat of arms in the west window of the Lady Chapel. This was unveiled by The Queen in 1995.

  Johann Peter Salomon, musician, is buried in the cloisters. An inscription for him was cut on the grave of fellow musician William Shield in 1938.
