Organ recital to mark Christchurch anniversary
Friday, 13th February 2015
Westminster Abbey will mark the fourth anniversary of the 2011 Christchurch earthquake with an organ recital on Sunday 22nd February at 5.45pm. Admission is free and tickets are not required.

Christmas Day Sung Eucharist

Anointing Screen on display at the Abbey
Sunday, 7th May 2023
The central anointing screen used at the most sacred moment of the Coronation, the anointing of His Majesty The King, will be on display in Westminster Abbey in St George’s Chapel from Monday 8th May – Saturday 13th May, when the Coronation Theatre will also be on view.

Visit us as part of your trip to London. We welcome overseas school and university groups for self-led tours on weekdays from September to July.

Visit the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Galleries to see the Litlyngton Missal, and many more objects, in real life. High above the Abbey floor, come face to face with the Abbey’s greatest treasures covering over 1,000 years of faith and history. Along with worship, examine objects that teach us about the building of Westminster Abbey, its role in national memory and its relationship with royalty.
