St Edward icon dedicated

A new icon of St Edward the Confessor has been dedicated and placed in the shrine, the place of his burial, in Westminster Abbey.

Charles II
Charles' coronation took place on 23rd April 1661. He was buried in the Abbey on 14th February 1685 in a vault in Henry VII's chapel.

Richard II portrait to go on loan to British Museum in 2012

Princess Anne, daughter of Queen Elizabeth II
Princess Anne is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. In 1973 she married Captain Mark Phillips in Westminster Abbey.

Richard II and Anne of Bohemia
Richard was crowned in Westminster Abbey on 16th July 1377 aged 10. He married Anne of Bohemia in January 1382 and both are buried in the Abbey. His portrait hangs in the nave.
