Home educated groups

Home educators are welcome to visit as individuals or as part of a home educated group with other families. Bookings can be made for a self-led visit or a guided tour.

Spark curiosity this September as we welcome home educators to explore over 1,000 years of faith and history at Westminster Abbey. What will you discover?

Date: Thursday 3rd September between 1:00pm and 3:00pm

Suitable for: KS1 and KS2 (5–11 year-olds)
Cost: 1 adult and 1 child (5+) £10. Additional child (5+) £10, additional adult £14, child (4 and under) free

Costs

Home educators are entitled to the concession rates offered to school groups as long as a booking is made on a weekday during school term-time.  

EYFS, KS1 and KS2 learners (Ages 4-11)
£3.60 per child for self-led, £7 for guided tour

KS3, KS4 and Post-16 learners (Ages 12-18)
£6 per child for self-led, £7 for guided tour

One adult is admitted free per group of up to 10.

Additional adults £14.

Full admission prices apply for weekends and school holidays. All visits must be booked in advance. 

Visiting options

Please see our range of tours for primary and secondary groups. For guided tours we require a minimum booking number of 10 children.   

There is no minimum booking number for self-led visits.
