A Service to mark the Centenary of the Royal Air Force

Westminster Abbey will hold a service to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the RAF on Tuesday 10th July at 10.30am.

Formed towards the end of the First World War on 1st April 1918, the RAF is the oldest independent air force. It was, at one time, the largest air force in the world and has played a significant role in British military history.
