Late: Abbey after hours
Enjoy a peaceful, self-guided visit to Westminster Abbey after hours, with time and space to explore at your own pace.
Experience Westminster Abbey in a quieter light during our special Wednesday late openings. With fewer visitors in the evening, you’ll have the rare chance to explore this historic landmark at your own pace. Take a self-guided tour through over a thousand years of history, from the soaring arches of the nave to the resting places of kings, queens, poets, and scientists. Whether you want to admire the Lady Chapel ceiling or linger in Poets’ Corner, these evenings offer a serene and contemplative way to connect with one of London’s most iconic buildings.
