Family Day; Budding Builders
Bring your budding builders to England’s oldest garden to get busy with all things bricks and buttresses.
Join us to explore the artistry in the architecture, the details in the design and the beauty in the buttresses of one incredible building – Westminster Abbey. As part of the day you will be able to:
- Contribute to a giant sculpture, inspired by the Abbey.
- Build a miniature Westminster Abbey to take home.
- Follow a trail to discover the surprises of the Abbey building and the incredible people who made it what it is.
- Create your own beautiful rose window.
- Settle in for storytelling of dragons in the stonework.
- Meet our friends from some of London’s most amazing heritage buildings and take part in their activities.
This event will include BSL interpretation.
