Minor Canon and Chaplain

The Reverend Helena Bickley-Percival is Minor Canon and Sacrist at Westminster Abbey.

Along with the Precentor, she is responsible for planning and delivering services in the Abbey and St Margaret’s Church. Prior to her appointment as Sacrist, she held the role of Chaplain from April 2024. 

Helena grew up in London and studied music before discerning a call to the priesthood and returning to London to work as a Pastoral Assistant in the Parish of Old St Pancras. Having been made a deacon by the Bishop of London in 2020, she served her curacy in the Parish of St Stephen with St John, Westminster.
