  The Abbey will be open from 4.30pm - 7.00pm (last entry at 6.00pm) as part of Cathedrals at Night, a project that will see all 42 Church of England cathedrals, as well as the cathedrals in Wales and the Isle of Man, open their doors free of charge.

• George Sparrow

  In St Margaret's is a memorial tablet to George Sparrow, Government agent, and members of his family. Unfortunately this is now hidden behind the organ.

• Hans and Adolf Heinzeller

  The Abbey’s crib figures were carved in limewood by Hans and Adolf Heinzeller in Oberammergau, Germany. They were designed by the Abbey's Sacrist Christopher Hildyard.

• Sir Anthony Tuke

  Philanthropist

  In the west window of Henry VII's chapel is the coat of arms of Sir Anthony Tuke, a trustee of the Westminster Abbey Restoration Appeal.

• Theodore Palaeologus

  Soldier

  In the chapel of St Michael is the grave of Theodore Palaeologus, buried 3rd May 1644. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Parliamentary army.

• Jane Rider

  In the south cloister of Westminster Abbey is a wall memorial to Jane Rider. It is not clear why she was buried in the cloisters.

  Priest/Minister, Physician and Doctor

  Dr John Chamber or Chambers was buried in St Margaret's church Westminster on 2nd July 1549 but nothing marks his grave.

• Hammond Witherley

  Musician

  Hammond Witherley, singer, was buried on 4th October 1717 in the west cloister of Westminster Abbey. No gravestone seems to have been inscribed for him.

• Bridget Holmes

  Servant

  Bridget Holmes, a servant to the royal household, was buried in the north cloister on 26th October 1691. Her grave was at the western end.

• Sir Thomas Langton

  Politician

  Sir Thomas Langton, MP, was buried in St Margaret's Church Westminster in 1605 but he has no monument or marker.
