Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë are commemorated in Poets' Corner in Westminster Abbey. Their stone tablet of Huddlestone stone was given by the Brontë Society.
She died while visiting Scarborough on 28th May 1849 and is buried at St Mary's church there.

John Milton
Writer and Poet
John Milton, poet and writer, died in 1674 but his memorial in Poet's Corner was not erected until 1737. He has a memorial window in St Margaret's church.

James O’Donnell secures role at Yale University

James O’Donnell, Organist and Master of the Choristers at Westminster Abbey, has been appointed as Professor in the Yale School of Music and Yale Institute of Sacred Music. He will leave the Abbey this Christmas.
He is Visiting Professor of Organ and of Choral Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music and was President of the Royal College of Organists from 2011–13.
