    Sarah, wife of Revd. Benjamin Langwith, was buried in the south cloister of Westminster Abbey, with her sister Grace Gostridge.

    Anne Stanhope, Duchess of Somerset is buried in St Nicholas' chapel. In the chapel of St Edmund is a monument to her daughter Lady Jane.

    Sir John Salisbury, one of the knights of the chamber of King Richard II, is buried in St John the Baptist's chapel in Westminster Abbey.

  • Teresa Sciaccaluga

    Maria Teresa Sciaccaluga, a daughter of Bartolomeo Valle, merchant, was buried in the east cloister of Westminster Abbey on 2nd November 1766.

  • Mrs William Quartermain

    The wife of Dr William Quartermain, one of the King's Physicians, was buried in "the south part of the cross aisle" i.e. south transept.

  • Adrian Drift

    Adrian Drift was buried near the grave of poet Matthew Prior in the south transept of Westminster Abbey. But he has no monument or gravestone.

  • Mary, Countess of Kent

    Mary, Countess of Kent was buried in St Paul's chapel in Westminster Abbey on 20th March 1644 but nothing marks her grave.

  • Theodore Balisy

    Theodore Salomon De Balisy was buried in the east cloister of Westminster Abbey on 7th July 1721 has no marker. He was 90 years old.

  • Thomas and John French

    Thomas and John French were servants to Dean Thomas Sprat at Westminster Abbey and are buried in the south cloister.

  • Timothy Brent

    Architect

    Timothy Brent, Surveyor General to the Duchy of Cornwall, was buried in the north cloister of Westminster Abbey.

  • Henry, Duke of Gloucester

    Henry, Duke of Gloucester, son of Charles I, was buried in the south aisle of Henry VII's chapel in Westminster Abbey on 21st September 1660.

  • John Windebank

    Physician

    John Windebank, physician, was buried in the middle part of the south cloister in 1704. But he never seems to have had an inscribed gravestone.

  • Lady Essex Robartes

    Lady Essex Robartes was buried in the chapel of St John the Evangelist on 14th January 1727 but she has no monument or gravestone.

  • Thomas Waldron

    Physician

    Dr Thomas Waldron, physician in ordinary to Charles II, was buried in the cloisters of Westminster Abbey on 14th February 1677.

  • Thomas Finny

    Thomas Finny, an assistant carpenter, was buried in the Dark Cloister area, near the Undercroft door. He worked for the Abbey from at least 1753.

  • Elizabeth, Countess of Desmond

    Elizabeth Butler, Countess of Desmond was buried in St Paul's chapel in Westminster Abbey in 1629 but she has no marker. Her father's first wife Elizabeth Berkeley is also buried in this chapel.

  • Thomas Gassaway

    Thomas Gassaway was a carpenter in Westminster and was buried in St Margaret's church on 19th November 1658. He has no remaining gravestone or monument.

  • Sackville Whittle

    Physician and Doctor

    Sackville Whittle, surgeon to King Charles II, was buried in the north cloister. He was born about 1631 and was a son of William Whittle.

  • Matthew Cotton

    Matthew Cotton and his son Matthew were buried in the Dark Cloister area of Westminster Abbey. They were almsmen of the Abbey.

  • Philip Herbert

    Soldier

    Colonel Philip Herbert, his wife Marianne and two daughters are buried in the west cloister of Westminster Abbey. None have markers.
