  On Tuesday 16th March a service of thanksgiving and the dedication of a memorial to those who served with Royal Air Force Coastal Command took place in the presence HM The Queen, HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and HRH, Prince Michael of Kent.

• Eleanor de Bohun, Duchess of Gloucester

  Eleanor de Bohun was a daughter and co-heir of Humphrey, Earl of Hereford, Essex and Northampton and has a fine brass in Westminster Abbey.

  In the centre of the nave is the grave of Sir George Gilbert Scott, architect and Surveyor of the Fabric at the Abbey from 1849-1878.

  John Islip was Abbot of Westminster from 1500 until his death in 1532 and was buried in the chantry chapel he built at Westminster Abbey.

  In Henry VII's chapel at Westminster Abbey there is a monument to John Sheffield, 1st Duke of Buckingham. The wax effigies of his wife Catherine and two sons can be seen in the triforium

• Mildred Cecil, Lady Burghley & Anne Countess of Oxford

  Mildred Cecil, Lady Burghley and her daughter Anne Vere, Countess of Oxford have a large monument in St Nicholas' chapel. Richard Cecil, Lord Burghley's father, is buried in St Margaret's Church.
