  Maria Teresa Sciaccaluga, a daughter of Bartolomeo Valle, merchant, was buried in the east cloister of Westminster Abbey on 2nd November 1766.

  Benjamin Fidoe was buried in the cloisters. He was a verger from 1725 and in 1748 became butler and brewer to the College of Westminster.

  John Rice, sometime organist of Trinity Church, New York, USA, was buried with his father in the south cloister on 24 March 1808, aged 84.

  Letitia, Countess of Donegal was buried in a vault at the east end of the Lady Chapel on 15th May 1691. She has no monument.

  Soldier

  General James Johnston is buried in the centre part of the nave. Only a small stone now marks his grave, near that of Thomas Telford.
