Canon Wright in Birthday Honours List

The Reverend Robert Wright, Sub Dean, Canon of Westminster, Rector of St Margaret’s Church and Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons was made a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO) in HM The Queen’s Birthday Honours List published on Saturday 12th June 2010.

Canon Wright, who is due to retire in the autumn, has been at Westminster Abbey since 1998.

The Royal Victorian Order recognises distinguished personal service to the order's Sovereign. Westminster Abbey is a Royal Peculiar responsible to the monarch.
