  A review in The Spectator magazine on The Coronation Chair and the Stone of Scone has given the Coronation Chair “the comprehensive study it deserves” according to James Yorke, former curator in the V&A’s furniture department.

  The Chilean Navy paid its annual tribute at the grave of Admiral Thomas Cochrane, the 10th Earl of Dundonald, on Tuesday 21st May 2019.

  Archbishop Bashar Warda, Chaldean Catholic Archbishop of Erbil, Iraq, addressed the reality of Christian persecution in the world today in a sermon preached at Westminster Abbey.

  Henry III rebuilt Westminster Abbey from 1245 and has a large tomb with an effigy in St Edward's chapel.

  James Oswald was buried in the north aisle of the nave in 1769. A small rectangular brass with a decorated border now covers his grave.
