• Her Majesty The Queen Attends ANZAC Centenary Service

  Her Majesty The Queen accompanied by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh attended a Service in Westminster Abbey on Saturday 25th April in Commemoration and Thanksgiving to Mark the Centenary of the ANZAC Landings. The National Anthem was sung.

  HM The Queen and HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh attended a service of thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey on the 9th July to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of hostilities in the Korean War.

  Reverend Dr Edward Gee, author, was buried in Westminster Abbey on 6th March 1730 "within the north gate of the tombs", presumably the north ambulatory.

  Edward Glanvill was buried in the south cloister of Westminster Abbey, adjoining the stone to William Shield. The stone is a little faint.
