  In the south transept of Westminster Abbey is the grave of the celebrated Scottish architect Robert Adam. The stone was re-cut in 1974.

  In the north aisle of the nave is a white marble monument to Robert Killigrew. It is a tablet in the form of a shield.

  In the south transept is a marble monument to Mary Hope put up by her husband, a wealthy London merchant. The sculptor was Robert Adam.

  On the north wall of St Margaret's church Westminster is a monument to Robert Stewart from Scotland. The burial register calls him Colonel.

  Above the tomb of Geoffrey Chaucer in Poets' Corner is a white marble monument to politician John Roberts. The memorial was erected in 1776.

  Reverend John Blair, author of the well known book The Chronology and History of the World, was buried near the door of the north transept.

  Dr John Leake, man-midwife, was buried in the north cloister on 16th August 1792 aged 65. He has no monument or inscribed gravestone.

• Richard Annesley, Lord Altham

  Priest/Minister

  The Reverend Dr Richard Annesley, Lord Altham was buried in St Benedict's chapel on 25th November 1701, next to the monument of Cardinal Simon Langham.

• Hugh Haughton

  On the south wall of St Margaret's is a monument to Hugh Haughton and his wife. This shows two kneeling figures with two daughters behind.

  In the nave is a joint memorial to Captain John Harvey and Captain John Hutt who were both mortally wounded in a naval victory.

  In north choir aisle is a memorial to Dr John Plenderleath. It consists of a monument with a pyramid background showing a portrait of John.

  In the east cloister is a marble monument in the form of a cross to the Reverend Ernest Hawkins, Canon of Westminster from 1864-1868.

  In the chapel of St Andrew is a memorial to Rear Admiral Thomas Totty. This shows a relief of a ship with flag at half-mast.

  In the east cloister is a marble wall tablet to Christopher Steigerr of Berne in Switzerland. He was buried on 28th December 1772.

• George Goring, 1st Earl of Norwich

  George Goring, 1st Earl of Norwich, was buried in St John the Baptist's chapel in Westminster Abbey on 14th January 1663. He has no monument.

• Susannah Davidson

  In the chapel of St Andrew is part of a memorial to Susannah Davidson. The relief from it can now be seen in the triforium galleries.

• Charles MacCarthy, Viscount Muskerry

  Soldier

  Charles MacCarthy, Viscount Muskerry was buried in the north ambulatory but he has no monument or marker. He was killed fighting the Dutch.
