Walter Stuart, 6th Lord Blantyre

Walter Stuart, 6th Lord Blantyre was buried in the Duke of Richmond's vault in Henry VII's chapel in Westminster Abbey on 24th July 1713. He has no monument or gravestone. He was the eldest son of Alexander, 5th Lord Blantyre in the peerage of Scotland by his second wife Anne (Hamilton). He was born on 1st February 1683 (modern dating) and succeeded his father in 1704. In 1710 he was chosen as one of the sixteen representative peers of Scotland. He died unmarried of fever and was succeeded by his brother Robert.
