Family Day: Carols with the Choir
Start your Christmas celebrations with a festive Family Day at Westminster Abbey.
Join us in the Chapter House to make a decoration to take home, take a festive family tour of the Abbey, hear cosy Christmas stories, and, of course, sing your favourite carols with the Westminster Abbey Choir:
Art and craft, 10.00am - 12.00pm
Decorate a shooting star to remember the story of Jesus' birth.
Christmas Highlight tour, 10.30am - 11.30am
Christmas carols, coronations, candles and cribs - the Abbey has plenty of festive links to discover on this guided highlights tour. Tours will set off from the cloisters every 20 minutes for the first ten people in the queue.
Sing-a-long with the Choir, 12.00pm - 12.30pm
Join the world-famous Westminster Abbey Choir to sing festive carols.
Storytelling, 12.30pm - 1.00pm
Snuggle up as a family and listen to some warming winter tales.
Tickets
Entry to the Family Day is free, and there is no need to book.
Family Day activities are held in the Chapter House and Cloisters, accessible via Dean's Yard.
If you would also like to explore the Abbey during your visit, please book an entry ticket. You will have the option to convert your ticket into a pass which allows two further visits.
Family Day activities are suitable for children aged 3+ and their families. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their time at the Abbey.
Toilets are available in the Cloisters.
