The tours, workshops and events listed below are suitable for EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 classes, and focus on different aspects of STEM covered by the National Curriculum.

Mathematical Patterns

Workshop for KS1 students

Look at the shapes and patterns in Westminster Abbey to discover how and why it was built.

Cost: £5 per pupil (includes a tour of the Abbey)
Recommended start times: 10.00am and 12:45pm


Abbey Maths

Workshop for KS2 students

Decode Roman numerals around the Abbey to discover the date the world will end - according to the medieval makers of the unique and beautiful Cosmati Pavement.

The biggest challenge we face is maintaining such a large physical collection of material within a historic building – believe it or not, there’s just not enough space for it all.
