A podcast for The Parable of the Talents

The Reverend Tricia Hillas, Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons and a Priest Vicar of Westminster Abbey, reads for the latest edition Abbeycast, the Abbey’s worship podcast series, released today.

Today’s episode, A podcast for The Parable of the Talents, was recorded this week in the nave.

The podcast is led by the Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle, Dean of Westminster, with an address by the Reverend Dr James Hawkey, Canon Theologian. The Reverend Tricia Hillas reads Matthew 25: 14–30. John Ireland's Ex ore innocentium sung by the Abbey Choir and conducted by James O’Donnell, Organist and Master of the Choristers, is supplied by the Choir’s record label, Hyperion.

Abbeycast, the Abbey’s worship podcast, is released regularly during lockdown, and otherwise to mark Feast Days and special anniversaries. Those wanting to be kept up to date with new releases can subscribe.

During this lockdown period, the Abbey is closed for public worship, but you are welcome to visit for individual prayer at times indicated on the website.
