Fundraising concert for Ukraine to take place at St Margaret’s Church

Dona Nobis Pacem: A Concert for Ukraine, will take place in St Margaret’s Church on Tuesday 10th May at 7.00pm to raise funds in support of the DEC’s (Disasters Emergency Committee) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Greg Morris, Director of Music at St Margaret’s Church will conduct the St Margaret’s Consort with Thomas Trotter on the organ. The programme will draw on music from across Europe expressing solidarity with the Ukrainian people and to pray for peace.

Works include music by Byrd, Pärt, Tavener and Bach, as well as a performance of John Rutter’s Ukrainian Prayer, written in response to the conflict, and the world premiere of Otche Nash, a setting of the Lord’s Prayer in Ukrainian by Consort member Gareth Treseder.
