Worship with us this Sunday as we livestream Evensong

The Abbey will be sharing Evensong live from the Abbey for the first time this Sunday 13th December at 3.00pm so everyone can unite in worship with us without leaving their home.

The service will be sung by the Choir of Westminster Abbey, conducted by James O’Donnell, Organist and Master of the Choristers, and the preacher will be the Venerable David Stanton, Canon of Westminster.

Music will include Howells Gloucester Service and Balfour Gardiner Evening Hymn. The organ voluntary is Eben Moto ostinato from Sunday Music, played by Sub-Organist Peter Holder.

Worshippers will be able to join the livestream by clicking here shortly before the start of the service at 3:00pm. A copy of the order of service can be downloaded below.

The service will also be available to watch again for seven days from Monday (14th December).

The Abbey is making these special online arrangements for worship whilst numbers at our services are restricted by the coronavirus. We have also been releasing Abbeycast, a worship podcast series, since the start of the pandemic.
