Russian President Vladimir Putin visits Abbey

On Tuesday 24th June Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Westminster Abbey on the first day of his four-day state visit to Britain.
Westminster Abbey was one of his first stops where he was greeted at the Great West Door of the Abbey by the Very Rev. Dr. Wesley Carr, Dean of Westminster.
As part of the visit President Putin received a book on Westminster Abbey from the Dean of Westminster.
