Andrew Bisset

Lt. General Andrew Bisset (or Bissett) was buried in the east cloister of Westminster Abbey on 27th August 1742 aged 82. But his grave is not marked. Journals of the day say he was an old experienced officer and colonel of a regiment of foot in Ireland. His son Andrew was buried at Chiswick church in 1702. In 1735 he was made Lt. General. His wife Constance was buried in St Margaret's church Westminster in 1720. Their daughter Constance was baptised at this church in 1705. His niece Dame Margery Innes inherited his estate.
