Celebrate Lumiere London at Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey will again be one of the highlights of Lumiere London when the festival of lights returns to the capital from 18th – 21st January 2018.

Artist Patrice Warrener will light up the Abbey’s West Towers and Great North Door with his work, The Light of the Spirit. He has lit more than 60 buildings around the world, and is known for his intricate, vibrant illuminations.

To celebrate the festival, the Abbey will be open to visitors from 6.30pm – 9.00pm (last entry at 8.00pm) on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th January, at the special reduced entry fee of £10 for adults and £5 for children. The Abbey Shop and Cellarium Cafe will also be open.

Lumiere is London’s largest arts festival, attracting 1.3 million visitors in its first year in 2016. The 2018 event will see more than 50 installations light up iconic venues including the Royal Academy of Arts, the Southbank and Grosvenor Square. All are free to attend.

Lumiere London is produced by Artichoke, and is supported by the Mayor of London and VisitLondon.com
