Joan of Acre, daughter of Edward I

Joan was a daughter of Edward I and his queen Eleanor of Castile and was born at Acre in the spring of 1272.

Marriage

On the 30th April 1290 Joan was married to Gilbert de Clare, 3rd Earl of Gloucester in Westminster Abbey.

Burial

She died on 23rd April 1307 and was buried at Clare Priory in Suffolk.
