Evensong to be streamed live from the Abbey on Sunday

Evensong from Westminster Abbey at 3.00pm on Sunday 16th May will be streamed live for worshippers to join in from home.

The service will be sung by the Choir of Westminster Abbey, and the preacher will be the Reverend Anthony Ball, Canon in Residence.

Music will include Tallis O Lord, give thy Holy Spirit and Elgar The Spirit of the Lord. The organ voluntary is Allegro giocoso from Edward Bairstow's Sonata in E flat.

Worshippers will be able to watch the service being streamed shortly before the start time of 3:00pm (BST).

The service will also be available to watch on demand until Monday 24th May.

Attending the service in person

As coronavirus restrictions ease, the Abbey is gradually increasing its schedule of daily services. Worshippers are welcome to join us in person for these services, but due to social distancing measures we may not be able to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend.

Please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Selected services will also continue to be streamed for worshippers to join in from around the world.
