Join us on an Abbey Association membership away day to Canterbury Cathedral this summer.

Dating back 1,400 years, Canterbury is England's first cathedral and an ancient site of pilgrimage.
 
On this visit, you'll see the place of martyrdom of Thomas Beckett, explore the cathedral grounds, and take part in a guided 'inside story' tour.

Itinerary 

  • 9.00am: Coach leaves the Abbey for Canterbury 
  • 11.00am: Tea and coffee on arrival
  • 12.00pm: Guided 'inside story' tour of the Cathedral 
  • 1.30pm - 3.00pm: Explore the grounds and surrounding area or enjoy lunch (not included)
  • 3.30pm: Coach leaves for the Abbey

Tickets are only available for members of the Westminster Abbey Association. If you are already a member and you would like to buy a ticket, either:

Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
This tour involves a lot of walking so a moderate level of physical fitness is recommended. Please wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
