The 31st annual Day of Prayer will be held in St Margaret's Church on Saturday 18th January 2020.

Join us for a day of reflective prayer led by the Reverend Angela Tilby.

First Address: The Hidden Face

Second Address: Faces and Mirrors

Third Address: The Holy Face

Followed by Evensong in the Abbey at 3.00pm.

Angela Tilby is a Canon Emeritus of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford and a Canon of Honour or Portsmouth Cathedral. After a career in the BBC she was ordained in 1997 and for ten years taught early church history and spirituality in the Cambridge Theological Federation. She was then vicar of St Bene’t’s Cambridge before becoming Diocesan Canon in Oxford. Now is a regular contributor to the BBC’s Thought for the Day and writes a weekly column in the Church Times. She has written on science and religion and on the teaching of the 4th century ascetic, Evagrius of Pontus.
