Missal depicting the Resurrection of Jesus

Sung Eucharist on Easter Day

Date Time Location Price

The Abbey’s principal Easter service, celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Join us at Westminster Abbey for this Sung Eucharist on Easter Day. This is a service of Word and Sacrament in which the Holy Scriptures are read, a sermon is preached, prayers are offered and Holy Communion is shared (bread only).

In addition to this service in the Abbey, we will also be releasing a new episode of our podcast series, Abbeycast, for worshippers around the world to enjoy on Easter Day.

Due to coronavirus guidelines, places at our Holy Week and Easter services are limited and should be booked in advance via the Eventbrite website.

Please only travel to the Abbey if you are able to do so safely within government guidelines; we strongly discourage the use of public transport to visit us at this time of national emergency.

We kindly request that all members of the congregation observe social distancing guidelines at all times throughout the service.

It’s very hard not to be enthusiastic working at the Abbey. If this place doesn’t make you smile I don’t know what will.
