Westminster Abbey and Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Abbey remains open for worship and you are welcome to join us at our daily Eucharist service if you are able to travel here safely within current government guidelines.

However, for the time being we are unable to open the Abbey and St Margaret’s Church for general visiting.

A special online tour for families exploring how Westminster Abbey celebrates communities all over the world.

The Commonwealth Day service is held at the Abbey every year to celebrate the worldwide family of nations which make up the Commonwealth.

Join us with your family for fun and quizzes as you discover the links that this royal church has with the Commonwealth through our shared history, our building, and the events that happen here.

Who's this for?

Activities are suitable for children aged 5+. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Lone adults are unable to join these sessions. The sessions will be hosted on Zoom.
