The Reverend Andrew Tremlett, Canon of Westminster
Canon Tremlett is Rector of St Margaret’s Church which stands beside Westminster Abbey close to the Houses of Parliament and is commonly called ‘the parish church of the House of Commons’. Canon Tremlett works closely with the Reverend Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons.
He was installed as a Canon of Westminster in October 2010 and was previously a Canon Residentiary at Bristol Cathedral, responsible for the Fabric and the Cathedral’s development plan. From June 2009 to May 2010 he was Acting Dean of Bristol. Over the past 20 years he has had a particular involvement in church school education, tutoring those training for lay and ordained ministry and the care of church buildings.
