The Commonwealth Service: A celebration of the Commonwealth will be held at Westminster Abbey at 3.15pm on Monday 12th March 2018.
The Commonwealth Service is Britain's largest annual inter-faith gathering, held on the second Monday in March each year. Among the 2,000-strong congregation will be 800 children from schools and youth groups.
The Service this year takes the theme, ‘Towards a common future,’ ensuring that the Commonwealth is responsive to global challenges and delivers a more prosperous, secure, sustainable and fair future for all citizens, particularly its young people.
Attendance at the Service will be by invitation, issued by The Royal Commonwealth Society.
Schools and youth groups wishing to attend should register their interest by Friday 26th January by visiting the RCS website.
