Livingstone bicentenary wreathlaying

Westminster Abbey will celebrate the bicentenary of Scottish missionary and explorer Dr David Livingstone with a wreathlaying in the Nave.
The ceremony will mark the bicentenary of the birth of David Livingstone and will be held at the Abbey at 6.30pm on Tuesday 19 March 2013.
It is one of a number of events which will be held next year to mark the anniversary of the great Victorian explorer, who is buried in the Nave of the Abbey.
Tickets for the ceremony are available to the general public. Anyone wishing to attend should send a stamped self-addressed envelope to: Mr M. Arnoldi, Room 13, The Chapter Office, 20 Dean's Yard, London SW1P 3PA. Tickets will be sent on Friday 8th March.
